A. Pablo Iannone holds three philosophy degrees:
B.A.(1969), U.C.L.A. M.A.(1972) and Ph.D.(1975), University of
Wisconsin-Madison.
His philosophical publications include the following
books:
Dictionary of World Philosophy (Routledge, 2001),
Philosophical Ecologies (Humanity Books, 1999),
Philosophy as Diplomacy (Humanities, 1994),
Through Time and Culture (Prentice Hall, 1994),
Contemporary Moral Controversies in Business (Oxford, 1989), and
Contemporary Moral Controversies in Technology (Oxford, 1987).
He has also published numerous reviews and articles.
In addition, he has published a book of poetry in Spanish,
Astérida (Gog y Magog, 1973), various stories, among them "South," in Alegría
and Ruffinelli Paradise Lost or Gained? The Literature of Hispanic Exile (Arte
Público, 1990), a few poems, and, most recently, a book of fiction The Room with
Closets: Tales of a Life Divided (Vagabond Press, 2006).
